menumax.com.tr (including the business panel and QR menus) uses cookies. We do not use ad cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

1. Essential cookies

Legal basis: performance of the contract and legitimate interest (secure session). No consent is asked; without these, sign-in, language/country and security do not work.

menumax_session (or the session cookie): keeps you signed in. Lifetime: session / policy duration.
mm_lang, mm_country: language and country choice; these also decide the currency shown. Lifetime: 1 year.
mm_consent: your cookie choice (essential / analytics). Lifetime: 1 year.
mm_mv_<venue id>: a day marker so that reopening the same menu on the same day is not counted twice (e.g. mm_mv_57=2026-09-11). Needed to count plan scan limits correctly. Lifetime: 1 day.

2. Analytics cookies (consent)

Legal basis: explicit consent. Written if you tap “Accept” in the banner; skipped if you tap “Essential only”.

mm_vid: a random 32-character code. It is not your identity, name or email. The server keeps an HMAC-SHA256 hash only; the raw code is never shown in reports. Lifetime: about 14 months.

With consent we store this summary: page path, which venue menu was opened, source (Google, direct, referring host), country and device class. The raw IP address is not written to the analytics table.

Checkout attempts, successes and error codes are tied to your account record (contract), not to cookie consent. Card numbers are never stored.

3. Scanning a QR menu

A guest who scans a table QR code does not have to sign up or sign in. The same cookie set applies: language/country choice, the day marker, and — only with consent — the analytics code. No guest name, phone number or email is kept in a cookie.

4. Change your choice

Cookieinställningar reopens the banner. Clearing cookies in your browser also resets the choice.
